I’ve come to see that the more you talk to people, the more you understand things (reading lots of books also helps). It seems obvious, I know, but personal experience has taught me a lot. For some reason I have an odd obsession with the subject of love. I used to hate seeing the word ‘love’ everywhere, but recently just thinking about God’s love, Christ’s love, and the concept of unconditional love in general has brought my mind to life. I’m pretty sure I comment or post way to much about it on the interblag, I just consider it a lot. On a less abstract-sounding note, I like art, and music, and coffee: I’m pretty stereotypical in that aspect. Also, I’m currently working on getting a BFA in Graphic Design.

If you like my blog (or even if you hate it), and would like to pick my brain, then let’s hang out! Otherwise, here are some things I like that have influenced me over the years that will probably help you understand me and/or where I’m coming from:
The Bible (ESV lately, I do enjoy The Message version, too.)
C.S. Lewis is my favorite author (I suggest The Great Divorce, The Space Trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia, and basically anything else he’s written.
Ted Dekker (A writer of psychological thrillers). The Circle Trilogy, Thr3e, etc.
Switchfoot (Jon Foreman), Relient K, Nickel Creek, and Jenny and Tyler‘s different musical projects are some of my favorites.
I am a visual thinker.
I am a person who likes to write down (or type up) what is on his mind, because I like to be able to look back on it. There is an annoying balance that I think a blogger has to achieve between writing what they are thinking to document their thought processes over time and blogging so often that no one cares/bothers to keep up with the posts. I’m trying to find that balance. And probably failing. ha.
Failing’s awesome Zach that’s how we learn; that’s how we become Thomas Edisions.
